SPECIAL EVENT ROMCOMS

Looking after farm animals in a tiny town sounds perfectly calm, orderly, and sane. Problem is, there’s nothing calm, orderly, or sane about Teaville and its residents, whatever their species... Eat, Pray, Love meets All Creatures Great and Small.

The Christmas Camel

All you need is love… and a camel.

Mollie Stanton has no intention of ever returning home – until her boyfriend dumps her twelve days before Christmas, and her incorrigible grandmother, Duchess Delilah, calls from jail, asking Mollie to post her bail.

There’s just one small catch. The judge insists that Mollie be guarantor and guardian. Translation : if she wants to get out of town before New Year, she has to find out who framed Duchess Delilah. Ideally, while also avoiding the handsome but annoying vet who’s staying in the Stanton Farm’s guest cottage.

All Dr. Darren Little wants is a fresh start, free from his family’s political ambitions and scandals. When he learns about a too-good-to-be-true opportunity to buy out another vet’s rural practice, he signs the contract. Looking after farm animals in a tiny town sounds like the perfect prescription for a much needed dose of calm, order, and sanity.

Problem is, there’s nothing calm, orderly, or sane about Teaville and its residents, whatever their species. And no one is crazier than Duchess Delilah. As for her granddaughter Mollie… she’s charming but guilty — and crazy — by association.

Neither Mollie nor Dr. Little have any idea what crazy looks like until Christmas Eve when Delilah’s shenanigans, a pregnant camel, and an altercation with the law conspire to rewrite more than just the doctor’s prescription.

The Christmas Camel is the first event in the Special Events RomCom series.

★★★★★ “Words never fail Ms. Ehsani. I have read several of her series and have been sometimes speechless, in a good way. Her imagination for her stories and the characters is boundless. I always feel like a friend on the outskirts of the characters' conversations. Usually baffled and on a runaway train. But oh the ride is 'curiouser and curiouser'!!! The story is fun, clean and a holiday happy ever after. I really enjoyed this story.” — Miss Lemon

★★★★★ “I snorted tea up my nose laughing so hard. So much simple fun and shenanigans. Our romantic couple-to-be are both running to and from family pressure. They collide in the middle with hilarious animals. Misadventures that kept me laughing. Thank you Vered for another great book.” — Lb1kenobie

★★★★★ “This is one of the funniest stories I ever read. One you can't put down until you finish. Cast of characters is unforgettable.” — Kindle Customer

★★★★★ “what a wonderful entaining story. With animals galore including the pregnant camel, a very large goat, geese, a dog and Mollies grandmother and her two friends. Then we add a new vet to the mix. I loved the way the various people and animals created a story I had to stick with to the very wonderful ending. I highly recommend the book for your reading this wonderful escape. Very well crafted people and animals, full of joy.” — Marlou

The Wedding Pig

All you need is love… and a (possibly disastrous) plan.

Naomi Mbugwa has zero interest in fancy fashion and high heels. She’d rather be in a boxing ring. The only reason she’ll even consider wearing a dress is for her best friend’s wedding. For some unfathomable reason, she agreed to help plan the event. But she didn’t agree to look after a newborn piglet. However, this is Teaville, and Granny Esther is determined to soften Naomi’s rough edges in the hope she might one day settle down and give an old woman some great-grandchildren. Hence the practice baby. Worse than the dress and a baby pig is Naomi’s planning partner. The groom’s brother.

Trent Johnny Williams is happy for any excuse to wear a tux. But then his brother has to opt for a country garden wedding. Translation : severely downgraded dress code. Still, it’s a free party, even if it’s in a hick town in the middle of … he’s not even sure where. The bad news is the wedding couple ask him to plan the event which has to be perfect because his mother is in the middle of election season, and all eyes are on the family. No pressure.

The really bad news? Pretty much everyone in Teaville, including the cute but annoying bridesmaid Naomi, is vehemently opposed to his mother's political party. A few of the villagers aren’t afraid to play dirty. They'll derail not just the election, but the wedding itself. It’s up to Naomi and Trent to plan the happy event while raising a piglet. But can they set aside politics and fashion preferences to ensure there’s an alter for the bride and groom?

The Wedding Pig is the second event in the Special Events RomCom series. Release date: December 2025
